I spent many-o Friday night at that field, playing drums and watching the game. It was truly an honor to be a part of the Rossville alumni before we merged into Ridgeland. I played at the final Rossville football game on that field and the final graduation in 1989. I returned later that year as a Ridgeland Panther, but that field was Rossville sacred ground. Kinda actually choked-up reading the article.
